On the advice of a holistic vet, I used this product as part of my dog’s antitick regimen. He’s an epileptic hunting dog so can’t have the typical tick treatment spot ons. As a mechanical measure, we shampoo him with Head and Shoulders and then rinse and apply the Detangler and rinse. After the treatment with Detangler, his hair is slick so the ticks have a more difficult time “latching on”. It doesn’t overly soften his wirey coat. Love this product. I’ve used it too periodically to moisturize my grey hair.

As an African-American woman, with non-chemically treated hair, a TRUE detangler is difficult to find. Many products CLAIM it’ll help detangle hair, but don’t even come close to doing so. Even with products SUPPOSEDLY designed for AA hair. I’ve known about The Detangler for years, but never tried it. I thought I’d go ahead after looking for some inexpensive detangling alternatives. My ultimate favorite product was getting too expensive due to me having to wash my hair more often because I am working out a lot more. After trying The Detangler, I fell in love with it. After washing my hair and then applying it, and letting it sit on my hair until I am done washing my body, I’d take a wide toothed comb and comb out my hair. After I rinsed the conditioner out, my hair is detangled and a breeze to style. The Detangler is excellent for really thick & curly hair. I just wish I could purchase the gallon size locally without having to order the product on-line.

Caviar’s product line is the best I have used in my 50 – some years of dealing with naturally curly, tangle-prone hair. This conditioner with sea silk is such a great find I had to purchase it in the large container (for best buy and simply the knowledge I would not run out for a good while). I have medium length hair which is fine and curly. For years I have tried conditioners which attempt to de-frizz, de-tangle, and maintain the moisture in my hair. However, none feels as good and does the job as well as Caviar’s. The product leaves my hair without any heavy build-up, completely tangle-free, and easy to style. Since I discovered it about two years ago, I hate to use any other conditioner-! The shampoo and conditioner in combo has left me without any damage, “split-ends”, or dry-looking hair. I also color my hair with a delicate all herb blend coloring. The Caviar products are gentle enough to work well even with coloring. I can’t rate this product higher than five stars, but if I could, I’d give it a few extra….that’s how great of a find it is.

WOW! Change my DD life!! Wow! I love this stuff! My DD has naturally curly hair that is just a huge rat nest everyday. Don’t get me wrong…it is gorgeous but such a PITA!!

When we wash and brush it has always been a huge ordeal. I load it up with conditioner and then brush it a small section at a time with a detangling comb. She just screams and cries and sometimes even hyperventilates! We hate bathtime!!

Until now! This stuff rocks. I still used A LOT but it was maybe 3 little “uhh”s and no crying. Hardly any pulling and the comb just went through so easily!! I highly recommend it to everyone that has tangle issues!! Oh and it smells good too!
