Before buying this product, I had been using Tigi BedHead gel and/or the Biolage hair creme for light sculpting. I have short, fine, dense hair. Because it is short, it generally takes something as heavy as gel to sculpt it for an all-day hold, but then it looks plastic and contrived.

The Biolage is great in that it is a light hold that doesn’t have a hard sheen to it. However, it does feel a little “grimy.” So I tried the Crew product because I like some of their other products.

The forming cream is very tacky (like wood glue), but distributes evenly if you work it carefully into your hair with two fingers. The neat part is that it doesn’t clump your hair together, and it doesn’t shine. So what you get his a hold that looks like hairspray, only softer. The hold is long lasting enough that you can apply it in the morning and not worry about it through an entire workday, or even a night of clubbing. Your hair looks brushed, not “sculpted.” You still maintain the freedom of hair that doesn’t have gel or hairspray in it, but the hair stays where you put it. Use a brush to sculpt.

It smells pleasant, doesn’t hurt my hair, and doesn’t look like I’ve spent an hour styling my hair. It also takes so little to use, I can imagine this small jar will last me at least a year.

I have short hair and find this product to work very well, especially in humid conditions. It feels clean and does not have the hard crunchy feel that stiff gels leaves behind.

I used to use hairspray or gel. Hairspray made my hair shiny and hard. The gel didn’t last very long. Both irritated my scalp. Luckily someone pointed me to this product and it is amazing. I agree with everything the other review says. it is light, airy, looks natural and doesn’t come anywhere near my scalp so it doesn’t irritate it.

The best product I have found for my unruly hair I love this product. I have curly hair that is not very thick. Confixor rocks for curly hair My life pre-Confixor was one battle with my white girl afro after another. Life in my moist midwestern city was a frizz-fest. Great for Coarse dry hair I only use a tiny bit on my relaxed hair, mostly my ends and then i wrap my hair at night. When I wake up its very moisutrized and soft feeling. The smell isn’t overpowering, its actually quite subtle. It is expensive but i’ve only used about 1/2″ and its been almost a year. It also works great on natural hair as well.

Miracle in a Jar I have very thick, course, wavy hair that gets very frizzy. I’ve used this product on and off for years. When I don’t use it, it’s only because I run out and happen to be short on funds. When that’s the case, I opt for cheaper products, but I’ve found none that compare! I always go back to this. I should note that typically I straighten my hair. I put is on right before running the flat iron through it. It leaves it soft and tames the frizz.

I have been using this product for at least 10 years. I am an African American woman and keep my hair cut short like Halle Berry. I love the consistancy of this product. I do not like to use heavy oils on my hair. This product adds shine, does not weigh my hair down, smells good and keeps it looking very stylish. Sometimes I will put this product on at night then wrap my hair before bed. I wake up and do not have to do a thing to my hair. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat! I just got a hair cut and will probably not use these rollers right now, but I have very thick hair and when it was longer the curls stayed for the whole day!!!! Good product and very good transaction with the seller!!!!!

I have thin, blond hair that holds curl ok, but not great. These curlers gave me luscious, thick spirals in no time. Heating up takes a little while, but not as long as I expected. I don’t even need to use product to get great spiral curls. The only hang up is with the shortest sections of my hair, that are probably 1 1/2 inches long. It’s a little hard to manipulate the roller around the hair because of the shape of the curler. However, it’s doable and still works. Five stars! This beats the pants off any curling iron I’ve ever used.

My hair is naturally very straight and chemically treated. These rollers put a bouncy, shiny curl in my hair and without any wire pins to keep up with! Highly recommend this product!

The Best Hair Product I Have Ever Found I have very long hair which is highlighted and straight. My hairdresser used this on my hair once and I loved the smell and feel. This product is a miracle for my hair. I have oily skin/scalp, yet dry hair due to coloring and styling. Because of this, I could never use an oil treatment, as it would turn my head into an oil slick. Moroccan Oil is fantastic! My hair is shiny, soft and so healthy. No oil residue is present…EVER! Only a pea-sized amount is needed. The best part – it takes literally minutes to blow dry my super thick hair. Amazing!

I have tried soooo many hair products. I have dry scalp and usually use prescription loprox, a moisture shampoo and reconstructer to follow. Whenever I need a perm my hair starts looking dry, but the phyto balm creates a shine I never knew my hair had. I also apply it to dry hair too.
