Fresh and clean, August 6, 2011

It’s so nice to have this shampoo stocked up cause my kids absolutely love how it cleans and how fresh it makes their hair smell!

I make sure to always have a case on hand and the convenience of being able to get it delivered when I need it is so nice.

I love this shampoo and even use it on myself, My favorite of the smoothers is the blue bottle but I cannot ever find them anywhere. THe pink is a close second, but they all are awesome shampoos. THe Blue and Pink do seems do soften hair a bit more.

Just what I’d been looking for…, March 10, 2011

This is some great stuff – I use it on my 5yr old, 3yr old, and 1yr old and it works amazing on all their hair! My two girls (the younger ones) have extremely fine hair that is always getting tangled (mostly from food) but this works great – I don’t even have to use detangler anymore. And the price can’t be beat!

Like many other women with silver-y streaks, I’ve tried most of the “silver brightening”-type shampoos available, from inky blue-violet to creamy lavender in color, from low to very high in price. This is the best I’ve tried and I’m sticking with it. It’s mild, cleansing, subtle enough in color concentration to use daily, with a pleasant, light fragrance. To top it off, the huge bottle is one of the best beauty bargains around. I have a lot of fine, wavy, unprocessed hair; I usually use this without a conditioner to avoid flat-hair syndrome, but if your hair is dry or highlighted, check out the conditioner too. The conditioner is more strongly scented, too much so for my liking, but tastes differ and it is cheap enough to try without regret.

Great hair, July 25, 2007

Is your hair white like mine? I tried Jhirmack Silver Brightening Shampoo, following the directions, and my hair shines brightly. It is clean and has plenty of volume. This is really good shampoo for white hair.

Not only for grey hair, but also lovely for bright white highlights. Best if you leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes in the shower. EXCELLENT PRODUCT–you’ll love it and I’ve tried them all…..

Love This Shampoo, As does my wife, July 22, 2011

This is a great product, have been using it for a few years. Although every 3rd shampoo-ing I use t-Gel just to change things up. My wife also likes to use a conditioner after shampoo, but I don’t bother with that. The price is good on Amazon and it was shipped for free and well protected in transit. They put some tape over the cover to prevent accidental spilling.

Stops Dandruff and Cleans Hair Without Strange Sensations, September 30, 2008

A few years ago, when I started noticing a dandruff problem, I began using Denorex shampoo (the coal-tar formula). The Denorex definitely solved the dandruff problem, but I was never really comfortable with the tingling sensation it produced and the fact that it didn’t seem to get my hair as clean as I wished (still leaving “greasy” hair after showering).

So, on one trip to my local department store, I picked up a bottle of Head & Shoulders Dandruff Shampoo: Classic Clean, and have never wavered from it. Not only does this product completely eliminate my dandruff, but it also leaves my hair feeling light and clean without any strange tingling sensations.

I cannot vouch for any of Head and Shoulders’ other formulas, but I can say that the Classic Clean is wonderful for me. If you are struggling with Dandruff and don’t like the idea of a product as powerful as Denorex on your head every day, give this shampoo a try.

I love Burt’s Bees’ products. I had used a different brand of sulphate-free shampoo & conditioner in the last 8 months but had to stop because it started causing build-up, oddly enough. After reading different reviews of Burt’s Bees Green Tea & Fennel Seed Shampoo & Conditioner, I gave it a shot and have no regrets.

Folks used to shampooing with lots of lather, beware: this shampoo will not meet your expectations. I really love that this shampoo hardly lathers, because it makes it easier to rinse all of it out. My hair smells really clean and fresh after shampooing and conditioning. I don’t need any hair product after toweling dry (note: I have perfectly straight hair).

Not good, May 28, 2011

Burt’s Bees Green Tea & Fennel Shampoo made my hair dull and stiff and my scalp itchy. I wanted to love this shampoo because I love the fragrance. The fragrance is why I gave it any stars at all. My hair is very fine, medium length and usually shiny and healthy looking. This shampoo left my hair dull, not soft at all, and feeling like cheap wig hair, like maybe the shampoo wasn’t rinsed out. Usually when I move my head my hair moves too. If I bend my head forward my hair falls forward too. After shampooing with this product, my hair was weirdly stiff, flat, and when I bent my head the hair on the back of my head stuck straight out away from the nape of my neck instead of falling against my neck. The next time I shampooed with it I rinsed for a very long time to make sure it was all rinsed out. Same unhappy results. Then I thought maybe it needed the corresponding Burt’s Bees conditioner. Finally a Shampoo that Feels Clean, April 5, 2011

This is the best shampoo I’ve bought in years. It leaves your hair feeling so clean and fresh and I can leave the shower and brush through my hair with no tangles left behind. I also bought the conditioner that leaves your hair really soft and shiny but there’s not noticeable build up or waxy feeling I get with other conditioners. I don’t know how they make this shampoo but big companies should take lessons because it’s unbelievable.

I frost my hair.

Regardless of who does your coloring, you need to have a good product to keep the color from fading off your hair. I really like this shampoo, because it doesn’t weigh down my fine hair, makes it feel silky and smooth, and the shampoo isn’t scented with some flowery sweet smell that makes my eyes itch all day.

And yes, it does keep my color glowing. Despite the fact that I actually have found a hairdresser I like, I don’t like to sit around with a head full of tinfoil too often, so that last part is really important!

Keeps Your Hair Color Vibrant!, March 17, 2011

I purchased this product with the conditioner and I love the products. It keeps my hair color vibrant and healthy looking. With all the coloring and highlighting, you need to have a great shampoo and conditioner to keep your hair color to not fade. I highly recommend this product. I get so many compliments with my hair, even after 3 weeks after I had my hair done.

Minty fresh and sulfate free – 100% Vegan too, March 3, 2010

I specifically love this shampoo for daily applications. It has a peppermint smell, lathers well and is “lauryl sulfate free”. I have medium length hair and it comes clean, plus this shampoo is mainly for moisture so it works well for people living in low humidity climates like Phoenix or Tucson, AZ. Abba promotes it as DEA free and 100% vegan as well. It does, however, have wheat amino acids and starch in it, so I would not recommend it to people that have an acute sensitivity to gluten (Celiacs Disease) – the wheat product may affect your scalp giving you itchy scalp.

i’m on a mission to regrow my below the shoulder, type 3b/c curly hair another 3-4 inches. i decided to use as natural as possible, eco-friendly products…especially no-sulfates! i was using loreal’s sulfate-free shampoo but it has so many strange ingredients that it made me a little uncomfortable. because i’d previously used abba scentsations conditioner i decided to try the shampoo. long story short… pure moisture shampoo kept my dry ends soft BEFORE i conditioned. so it’s a keeper for me!

Excellent Shampoo!, June 8, 2010

Hi,

I’ve tried a lot of shampoos (including all-naturals) in my day and while my hair may feel and smell good, I’ve found that 95% of them leave my scalp dry and itchy, even with conditioning. I came across this shampoo in a salon/ salon supply store and bought both the shampoo and conditioner and have found it to be the BEST shampoo I’ve ever used. With no sodium laurel/laureth sulfate, yucca, germanium, wild mint and 100% vegan, it give my hair great body a nice tingle to my scalp that prompted me to buy this online when I couldn’t find it in the store where I originally purchased it.Abba Pure Moisture Shampoo 8.45oz

I went shampoo shopping and this was on sale so I thought I would give it a try. I cannot believe how healthy my hair is. I noticed an improvement after the first time I used it (along with the conditioner). It smells great and leaves my hair shiny and soft. I can’t speak to the color protection piece since it’s been over 3 months since I had my last color appointment, but it definitely took care of my damanged hair.

Truly impressed., September 21, 2007

As someone with naturally wavy, almost curly hair, I am always on the lookout for products to keep my hair smooth. With my hair being color treated (bleach and low-lights) I also look for products that will keep my hair soft, minimize breakage and not affect my color. This product line exceeded my expectations. Because I am licensed, I normally only buy professional products. I tried this because it is NOT tested on animals and sadly most professional products ARE. I live in the South where it’s quite humid…This kept the frizzies under control. I noticed I could run my fingers through my hair after shampooing and before applying the conditioner. Normally, I have to use conditioner to be able to do this. For what it’s worth, my fiance noticed that my hair was smoother and said it smelled wonderful…Wanting to know if I had tried the new mango/citrus shampoo and conditioner I had bought. Hawaii for your Head, December 22, 2007

Using this shampoo is like taking a head-trip to Hawaii. Inhaling the rich, sweet coconut milk scent of this shampoo reminds ms of a splendid, sunny day I spent on Waikiki, slathering Hawaiian Tropics all over my skin and thinking of absolutely nothing but the sun, sand, and surf. Everytime I lather this creamy, milky shampoo into my hair, I forget I am standing in a freezing bathroom in Alaska and slip into a delicious fantasy of me bathing in a waterfall in Kauai!

There is one warning about this shampoo though: it cleanses your hair like a clarifying shampoo. It leaves your hair very clean but a tad on the dry side like when you use a clarifying shampoo. I use a great conditioner from Aveda – one that has a coconut, grapefruit scent and it works great.

Smells Great, not quite hydrating enough., January 15, 2009

I love love this shampoo/ conditioner set. Note: I’ve never used the hydrating treatment. My hair is medium length and fine.

These products smell absolutely delish, in a minty- chocolate way that actually stays in your hair (My bf even noticed the difference).

Now I know that its winter, and that might be contributing to the one problem I’m having. The “hydrating” claim didn’t really come through for me. I’ve noticed a ton more flyaways and static in my hair over the past week. It smells and looks great, but I actually feel like a should rub a dryer sheet on my head. Sometimes my hair clings to my face and its never done that before. Overall four stars.

I think I’m going to try the hydrating treatment to try to fix this, cause I love the smell too much to give up easily.

good shampoo for gray hair, August 16, 2007

As my hair turned grayer and grayer I noticed I was getting a yellow haze to the color and joked about being a “blonde” again. But I knew the color was wrong and was advised by my hairdresser to try Clairol Shimmer Lights. It absolutely does take the yellow out of the hair leaving a beautiful silver color – on me at least. I have had a lot of compliments on my hair since using this shampoo and can only think a lot of it has to do with the clear shiny silver color I now sport. Although I have read that some shampoos for silver hair end up leaving a blue tint, that has not happened with this shampoo.

Best shampoo yet to take away brassiness!, December 19, 2006

I have tried many “blue-ing” shampoos. None have worked as well as this. I have tried many that were MUCH more expensive professional salon brands and they were all disappointments. I use this one, and it takes away ALL brassiness. Doesn’t smell nice or pretty, and it seems a little harsh – so I only use once in a while, when I really need it. But, by far it is something I always NEED to have for my hair. I have blonde highlights and lowlights. More of a med-dark golden blonde overall, and I am telling you – THIS DOES THE JOB. JUST TRY IT ONCE!!! You won’t regret it!
