Perfect image solutions 15% minoxidil review, September 19, 2011

I used the 15% minoxidil from Perfect Image Solutions for a long time, even back to the days when they had the blue bottles. I can honestly say that I received much better results than from 5% minoxidil. The major complaint I have is that this product is sticky after it is dry, making it difficult to comb my hair. I switched to other brands for several months to see if the other brands are less sticky and try to save money as well.

I came back to try perfect image 15% minoxidil hoping that they have addressed the stickiness issue after changing its formulation. I have used this new formulation for two weeks, and have found that they are more or less the same as before and consistent with other brands. One thing that did change was the color of this product; it was a lot more yellow than before due to the addition of retinol.

My hair loss concern is that my temple peak on my left side has become obviously thin when compared to my right side. This has become more apparent over the past 5 or so years. I am a ‘black/African American’ male who has visited the same barber for the past 12 years at least once every two weeks and many times once per week. He knows my hair very well and probably better than I. After using one full bottle of this, I slightly noticed a positive change as my left temples spot/patch became a bit darker however my barber did not mention a change and I never mentioned Minoxidil to him. I went forward and purchased a 2nd bottle and I am now half-way complete with the 2nd when my barber says to me, “Hey, I think your hair is growing in this area… what is going on?” – lol. The Best Minoxidil Product Period, March 16, 2011

This is the best product out there by far. I was an individual who suffered from frontal hairline loss. I had minor hair loss and wanted something that worked. I heard previously that most minoxidil products only worked or were tested in certain areas excluding the frontal hairline. I was disappointed with my discovery until I came upon Amazon and read about this product. Due to the positive reviews I decided to try this product out. A month later I have had amazing results. I still can’t believe it. I have real hair growing back and I notice newer hairs are also coming in. I’ve always held Pantene as being one of the premier mass market products. But with my curly, frizzy long hair, almost none of the products, even professional lines, do the job.

I saw this cool square jar on the shelf on sale for .99 at the grocery store on a very bad hair day and bought it. I used it the next day and was amazed. It took the frizz out of my hair and made my hair feel so soft and nice. It’s my expectations that with further applications it will only improve my hair. One thing, however, is that if your hair is really damaged and/or dry/frizzy, then leave it on for 30 min to 1 hour using a shower cap or plastic bag for really deep treatment. It rivals any other moisturizing treatment that costs up to . A great product at a fantastic price! Try it.

A good product for the price, July 22, 2011

I have very dry, thick, naturally curly hair. A good, deep conditioning treatment is usually a once a week thing to keep my hair from looking like straw. This product is thinner than most deep moisture treatments. In fact, it is thinner than my regular, daily conditioner. That being said a little bit of the product goes a long way and the scent is light, and clean.

What I liked…

-The scent is very appealing

-Good coverage with a small amount of product

-Effective to help de-tangle

What I did not like…

-I prefer a richer texture for moisturizing treatments

-The results were good but pretty much the same as my daily conditioner

Overall, I think this product would be the most effective for someone with thinner hair but mine is so thick that I feel I need a product with a thicker texture.

Unbelievable!, November 18, 2010

I have type 3c/4a kinky curly hair and this deep conditioner is amazing! It makes my hair so soft. It’s also great for detangling as well. My curls feel instantly moisturized and a little goes a LONG way. I will uses this for as long as Pantene makes it.

It really thickens hair, December 23, 2006

I have long hair and it got dry and brittle and started breaking off in places. I purchased the Thin-to-Thick pack (shampoo, conditioner, scalp serum, and hairspray) and it really thickened my hair noticeably. The increased thickness made my hair less brittle so it was no longer breaking. The serum actually stimulated hair growth all over my head so the few thinnish patches in my hair will soon be filling in.

Awesome topical treatment, September 24, 2007

I have been using the grogranics head full of hair topical treatement for a little over a week and the results are phenomenon. I have noticed fast new growth especially since I had just gotten a relaxer a week before. The jar says “you will be amazed at the fast hair growth.” I’m truly amazed because I was having problems with the crown of my hair regrowing. I went to a dermatologist and was prescribed to use clobex, which didn’t give me fast results like this. My beautician recommended that I try the groganics topical scalp treatment, which I did try and I ordered a jar of it but the head full of hair treatment caught my attention so I ordered that too. Its good, however…., November 15, 2010

Just started using this product, for two days so far and although it is suppose to be a cream, it is a greasy cream. It leaves my hair greasy and stiff. I was told by the company that this is the “non-greasy product.” I am going to give it time to work, however the greasy aspect of it makes my hair look thinner after I apply it to my scalp. I am going to try it as an overnight, and wash it out in the morning.

I am ordering my 3rd jar!, July 9, 2011

I have always had very thick hair. As I progressed through my 30′s and now am in my early 40′s my hair has started to thin. I had no idea what was going on until I began researching possible causes. One cause is the drop in estrogen and the increase in testosteone that happens when one is pre-menopuasual. Another cause was hypothyroidism. Lack of vitamins and minerals as well as poor hair care are other factors I am addressing. I no longer chemically relax my hair. I use shea butter, castor oil, olive oil, tea tree and jojoba oil to moisturize and condition. In addition I am shampooing and conditioning with Groganics products. My hair is growing in the crown, temple, and nape of my neck. After three months of consistent use of this product along with other measures I can say that I am happy with where my hair is and look forward to more growth!

I absolutely love this product. I was first introduced to it during a visit to one of my friends in Manhattan. I live in Georgia so I can’t exactly get this product as easily as she can, so I was elated to find this product on Amazon. I am mixed with German and Black, so my hair is all over the place. This product not only softens the texture of my hair but always has a great scent that lasts. I call it hair crack because if I don’t use it when I wash it, my hair will not cooperate as well…lol, crazy as that may sound. I simply wash and condition my hair as usual and then use the silicon mix, i let it sit for about 3-4 minutes in my hair and wash it out. I am contemplating buying the shampoo and conditioner next. My Holy Grail Deep Conditioner!!, September 22, 2010

I will never ever use another deep conditioner after trying this. I’ve been to a Dominican salon before but never knew the exact products used on my hair. I realized that none of my local beauty supply stores sold Dominican hair products. After digging around the internet here I am. I’ve always had dry hair and after years of using heat and relaxing it I was going to chop it off. But enter Silicon MIX. OMG…I couldn’t stop touching my hair, my daughter couldn’t stop touching my hair, my mom couldn’t stop touching my hair. So I used it on my daughter’s hair wondering if maybe I was imagining that this conditioner really worked. She begged me to use it and she hates getting her hair washed. Her hair is like silk now. Our hair looks and feels healthy. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this confident about my hair without having paid over 0 at a salon. They will have to pry this out of my cold dead hands.

A Satisfied Black Salon Owner, May 22, 2011

I own a black hair salon and heard so many people ranting and raving about dominican wraps and blowouts, so i decided to visit a dominican salon to experience the dominican technique. a week later i tried to do the dominican wrap technique on myself using my own hair care products (that i still love), and to my surprise it did not turn out the same. I finally learned it is all in the products they use. I am now deeply in love with how these products have added shine and extreme body to my hair as well as my clients hair. When using these products i do not have to overwhelm my hair with shine sprays or oils all the time, i can roller set or blow out my hair and not use anything on it for a week. I am truly amazed and so excited about this product line. As an experienced stylist i do recomend this for african american hair.

Fantastic product, needs better packaging, September 6, 2011

I rate the product itself five stars, but what would make it much more effective is actually an eyedropper applicator. This bottle is true glass, and when you’re using your hands to apply this, they sometimes get a little slick, and it’s easy to drop the bottle (ouch!) That said, this is the best, lightweight oil that does a fantastic job protecting against heat, and just taming my very thick hair. I use this anytime I’m using a heat appliance on my hair. It smells like grapefruit – clean and crisp, not sugary, and I’ve noticed that it makes a fantastic cuticle treatment as well. I bought a bottle at the very beginning of July and I’m not even
